THE POWER OF PEPTIDES Skin Barrier Function The increased absorption of peptides ensures an ideal supply of amino acid building blocks required for the synthesis of key proteins such as keratin (in hair and epidermis), collagen and elastin (dermis layer) that are essential for skin strength, elasticity and barrier function.
